Really? It’s already August?? What happened to the first half of 2018? Time flies, baby! I guess that is a symptom of not sleeping in your own bed for more than three months out of the year. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not complaining. It is just that, to get an idea of how fast the train is going down the track, sometimes you have to get off to see how quickly it flies by you! Today’s look at the calendar has done that for me.
But now it’s time to get back onboard and head to the next destination. While I do that, I want to let you know about a presentation I’m giving soon in the Knoxville area. The title of the presentation is “Steve’s Excellent Eclipse Adventure” and the venue will be the Camera Club of Oak Ridge (CCOR). As the title suggests, I’ll share images from last year’s solar eclipse. However, it will be more than just stunning images (if I must say so myself). I’ll also share the teachings that totality offered me. That’s right, I have to turn everything into a life lesson and totality is no different. Regardless, I promise it will be entertaining and educational. I hope you can attend! I have many friends at CCOR and I’m looking forward to hooking up with everyone again. The details are below.
Let me know if you if you have any questions or check out CCOR’s website. See you there!
Location: Roane State Community College, 701 Briarcliff Ave, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
