Yes, I’m still here and I haven’t forgotten about you. If the phrase busy as a bee means anything to you, then that buzzing in your head is the sound of my life going by at 107 mph. Buzzzzz….
But I have a brief announcement! Please join me at the Blount County Photo Club on Thursday, February 21, where I’ll be talking about one of my favorite subjects, night photography! The meeting is at the Blount County Public Library starting at 6:30 pm for social time followed by their meeting and my presentation. The library is located in Maryville, Tennessee at 508 N. Cusick Street. I hope you can join me!
Here is a link to the Club’s Facebook page if you’d like to learn more about them: https://www.facebook.com/groups/137233279685893/about/
So, here are a couple of nighttime images from my trip to the Bristlecone Pine forest in the White Mountains last August. In this case both are star trails. For these images, I left the shutter on my camera open for about an hour, so these are single exposure images.
Enjoy, and hope to see you on Thursday!!
