That’s What I Call a Real Photograph

I love social media and smart phones with their ability to rapidly create and share images. It’s amazing, especially when you consider that more images are uploaded to Instagram in a single year than ALL the photos ever taken prior to 1980. Simply put, we communicate with images these days instead of words.

That said, sometimes you need something more than a tiny little image on a smart phone. Sometimes you just need a photograph. A real photograph. A real big photograph. So, imagine the joy when I unwrapped a 30 inch x 78 inch (about 75 cm x 200 cm) print and installed it in my daughter’s new house yesterday. It was so big that I could only transport it in my 4Runner with the tailgate open. And it is gorgeous, if I must say so myself. Pretty cool.
